Name:
Rowankit, Rowanpaw, Rowanoak
Age: 24 Moons
Gender: Male
Clan: WindClan
Rank: Warrior
---------------------------------
Visual
---------------------------------
Formal Description: He's a bright sort of tom, vibrantly colored which makes him show up against the foliage of the forest regardless of what he does. He loves it when fall comes and he blends in with the fallen leaves, but that's about the only time things work out that way for him. He's a classic red-brown tabby, with traditional markings. About the only thing that's odd about him is his eyes. With heterochromia, they're mismatched, leaving him with the left being green and the right yellow.
Breed: Domestic Short Hair (Tabby)
Summary Description: Red-brown tabby tom with heterochromia

Personality: Overtly friendly is one way of describing Rowanoak. He loves meeting and talking to others, cracking jokes all the while. She-cats tend to find him charming, but he doesn't actively try to be. He's just being nice, and he isn't going to stop being that way regardless of how others find it. Of course, this can annoy others who simply prefer to be left alone, or feel as though he should be more serious sometimes. He always tries to make things lighter, and sometimes others don't appreciate that.
Besides being so friendly, he's very energetic. He has a hard time sitting still or otherwise doing nothing. Meetings are rough for him because of this, and he can often be seen looking around curiously, shuffling his paws and tail, or whispering to those around him. He's gotten in trouble for being a distraction before, but he just can't help it. On regular days, he can often be seen tearing around the camp trying to entice someone to play with him, or he's out hunting trying to burn off some excess energy.
Though he's incredibly friendly, he doesn't tend to form deep bonds with others. He likes knowing everyone, sure, but that leaves him without a lot of time to become friends with everyone and form deep relationships with them. An unfortunate side-effect of this is that others (especially those she-cats that think he's flirting and are hurt to find otherwise) sometimes get angry with him, thinking he's leading them on or something of the sort. He's always deeply pained and sorry when this sort of thing happens, because it's never his intention.
He does have a strong disliking towards and distrust of rogues due to their ambush while he was an apprentice, and they are the only ones who ever cause him to be angry. He gets very blunt and antagonistic when angered, giving orders and expecting them to be listened to without question. He's more than willing to back up his words with tooth and claw if need be, after all.
History: Born into Windclan, Rowankit had a typical kithood. He grew up playing with his two siblings, and his parents, though proud, adopted a more laid-back attitude towards raising their new children since it was their second litter. They weren't too worried about anything going wrong, since they'd gained quite a bit of experience with their first litter, which had also been much larger.
Eventually, Rowankit became Rowanpaw, and he took to his warrior training with excitement. It was good for him to have an outlet for his overabundance of energy, and he took to his studies with great enthusiasm. It helped that Ravenwing was such a good teacher, of course, though they had some difficulties in the beginning. She was more calm and collected than he was, and that caused some trouble for them both while they adjusted.
And then, she disappeared. He spent ages looking for her along the river, wondering if there was anything he could have done to save her. He thought they had killed his mentor, and because of that he fostered a hatred of rogues that he carries to this day. Even after he was given his warrior name and she returned to the clan alive and well, he has been unable to get rid of that hatred. Luckily, there's little reason for him to get anywhere near rogues, so it works out for the best.
He got to watch with pride as Ravenwing was named deputy of the clan, though he could tell she didn't think she was ready for it. He knew her well enough to tell that easily enough. Still, he figures she'll do well and he's determined to be the best warrior he can be for his leader and deputy, wanting to prove himself every step of the way. After all, if their deputy can live through getting washed away, what can't he do?
