Personality: Goosecall is relaxed and easy going. It's hard to ruffle his fur, and he's usually seen chatting with the warriors or even apprentices and sun bathing. He can get along with just about anyone, even from enemy clans. He's a real smooth talker during gatherings, and is known to try to meet as many other cats as the night allows. Don't underestimate him, he does have a serious side. He isn't a fan of bullies, cats who take advantage of the weak, and he has little respect for dishonest scoundrels who have to lie and manipulate those around them. Goose is an honest cat, to friends and enemies alike.
History: Goosekit and Hawk-kit were happy and outgoing kits. They were always under every cats' paws, playing games and having adventures all over camp. The brothers were inseparable, even as apprentices, and trained together when their mentors allowed. Goosepaw's mentor, a relaxed tom called Stoneheart, was lenient with Goosepaw, and the two often took side trips to sunbathe after hunting. Hawkpaw's mentor, a shifty tom called Darkfur, was the opposite. He was like a weasel, sly and cunning, and often took advantage of Hawkpaw by blaming him and taking out his frustrations on him. Goosepaw was unaware until he witnessed a scene one evening, where Darkfur convinced Hawkpaw to eat before hunting, breaking the warrior code. The apprentice was blamed by his mentor when their leader called the pair out, and Hawkpaw went hungry that night. Goosepaw became more alert after that, and confided into Stoneheart who brushed off Goose's misgivings. Goosepaw was not appeased, however. He still kept a keen eye on his brother, until during a border raid, he was unable to run to Hawkpaw's defense. Hawkpaw had to rely on Darkfur, who used his apprentice as cover to get away. Hawkpaw died that day, and Goosepaw blamed his mentor and Darkfur, for while Darkfur was the original tormentor, Stoneheart did nothing but stand by and watch. Goosecall received his warrior name, without his dear brother, and set his heart on serving his clan loyally, vowing to never let another cat in Thunderclan be treated like that by a clanmate. He grew into a fine tom, outgrowing his father in size, strong and brave. He was still the relaxed young cat who loved sunbathing, but under that passive exterior he was always watching, making sure no one was treated wrong when he was around. His first apprentice was a molly called Birdpaw. She was a skittish and jumpy she-cat, though in time she warmed up to her larger mentor. Goosecall made sure she felt welcomed and loved by her clanmates, often stepping in for her at gatherings to halt any other cats who dared to tease her or frighten her. Birdpaw was named Birdheart as a warrior, and she remains close with her former mentor.
