Here's a few of my characters up for adoption! I'll be updating this periodically.
If you want to adopt someone, just respond to this thread. It will generally be first-come first serve unless I specify otherwise. This isn't really a requirement, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me about some of the things you want to do with the vague parts of their personality/history/appearances; I want to know your ideas!
When making a bio for these fluffs, you can copy over the history/personality/appearance with your approved amendments. Just be sure to give me credit at the end of the bio or something!

She-cat; 85 moons; Senior WindClan Warrior
The headstrong and witty sister of Flashstar and Gorselight, Flamewhisker is a stocky brute of a cat, only dwarfed by her brother, Flashstar. Her coat is thick, colored a bright orange with small splashes of white on her chin and tail tip. Her eyes are a yellowish-brown color.
Flamewhisker's History:
Her history is heavily based off of Flashstar's; I would recommend starting here!
Borne to the wandering warrior, Sparkrunner, Flamekit and her siblings were clearly not full-blooded WindClan. For most of her kithood and apprenticeship, Flamewhisker was the victim of a lot of bullying and harassment, mirroring the treatment that her siblings received. They were targetted for their questionable heritage by fellow apprentices and warriors alike, plenty suspicious of their mother's adventurous tendencies. Like Flashstar, she tended to solve her problems with brute force and wasn't afraid to smack the sneers off of anyone's face. As such, Flamepaw and Flashpaw spent quite a lot of time together cleaning the elder's den as punishment; eventually, Flamepaw grew tired of being punished for standing up for herself and resolved to out-perform her peers instead. While Flashpaw continued to visit the elder's den in punishment, Flamepaw quickly built rapport with the other apprentices despite their sneering jabs at her ancestry.
She earned her warrior name "Flamewhisker" for her excellent skill in hunting. Despite her bulky and formidable frame, she was known for her resolve in tracking down marmots along the moor and spending hours digging them out of their burrows. She refuses to let anyone know her secret, even her own apprentices.
When her mother, Sparkrunner, left WindClan shortly after her and her sibling's warrior ceremony, Flamewhisker was heartbroken. Unlike her brother, Flashjaw, she understood why Sparkrunner wanted to leave; she was not spared from harsh treatment either and was subsequently ostracised by her clan. When Flashjaw and Gorselight went into their deep depression, Flamewhisker was hard on both of them, calling them weak and selfish for being so caught up in their own problems when the rest of the clan still existed and needed them; she was especially disappointed to see her once passionate brother struck down by grief and anger at his mother. She knows she was harder on them than she should have been and does feel bad, but Flashstar holds no ill against her for this. He credits both her and Gorselight to his eventual recovery. Gorselight and Flamewhisker have yet to talk about their feelings about this harsh treatment despite remaining close.
Relationships:
- Sparkrunner: Mother -- potentially dead
- Flashstar: Brother -- best friends basically

How to make her your own:
Gorselight *ADOPTED*
She-cat; 85 moons; Senior WindClan Warrior
The nervous and reserved sister of Flashstar and Flamewhisker, Gorselight was blessed with the small, lithe frame of a WindClanner. She sports the same, bright red coloration as her mother and siblings, with white fur around her neck and chest and covering her legs. The white washes up her face to her eyes, leaving her with a stunning mask-and-mantle coloration. Her eyes are a dark amber -- almost copper.
Gorselight's History:
Her history is heavily based off of Flashstar's; I would recommend starting here!
Borne to the wandering warrior, Sparkrunner, Gorsekit was the only kit of the litter to look like she was full-blooded WindClan, small and built for running. Like her siblings, Gorselight faced a lot of harassment and bullying at the beginning of her life, being targetted for her questionable heritage by fellow apprentices and warriors alike. Unlike her other siblings, Gorsepaw was more meek and shy, often allowing the ridicule and bullying to go unchecked. However, she didn't face nearly as much teasing from her peers, as her WindClan-like body was similar enough for them to see her as 'normal'. This kept her 'well-behaved' in the eyes of her mentor and older warriors; she kept to herself and didn't cause nearly as much trouble as Flashpaw and Flamepaw. She was often rewarded for this 'respectable' behavior, seen as a blessed child from a cursed family. These comments did more to hurt Gorsepaw in the long run than they did help.
Gorselight earned the suffix 'light' from her leader with the same sort of perspective held by the older warriors. She was the 'light' of her family, the light of future WindClan: respectable, quiet and seemingly untainted by loner genes. She did an average job at her training but was seen as a spectacular warrior for her temperament. In that way, she has a touch of imposter's syndrome from this treatment and feels as though she didn't do anything to deserve the respect of her clanmates.
When her mother, Sparkrunner, left WindClan shortly after her and her sibling's warrior ceremony, Gorselight was overcome with grief. Unlike her brother, Flashjaw, she understood why Sparkrunner wanted to leave; she was not spared from harsh treatment either and was subsequently ostracised by her clan. When Flashjaw went into his deep depression, Gorselight joined him; she had lost a vital part of her life; a warrior and mother that she had respected and made a hero in her mind. She resented Flamewhisker's harsh treatment of her and Flashjaw; the thought that she was weak and selfish for being so caught up in their own problems when the rest of the clan still existed and needed them only made her feel worse. A major part of her recovery came from helping Flashjaw through his own, as he seemed much worse than she did. As such, Flashstar credits her and Flamewhisker as key parts of his own recovery and is extremely thankful for them. While she hasn't exactly been able to talk to Flamewhisker about how uncomfortable her harsh treatment had made her, she maintains a healthy relationship with her.

How to make her your own:
Oliver
Tom; 98 moons (8 years and 2 months); Kittypet
Tom; 98 moons (8 years and 2 months); Kittypet
The modest and reserved father of Hailrush, she is almost the spitting image of him. This can lead to some confusion when Oliver is found on SkyClan grounds. As such, his coat is long and luxurious, shinning a clear indication of his kittypet life, and, like Hailrush, he touts long whiskers and marbled silver-tabby coat on a large, robust body. Their differences lie in Oliver's paws, neck ruff, and muzzle -- as they break the tabby fur in patches of white -- and his eyes that are a pale green.
Oliver's History:
-under construction; pls take a hard hat-
How to make him your own:
Oliver is probably the character I'll be the pickiest about; his personality and history are pretty inflexible (but I'm always open to suggestions!) and he's very important to the character development of Hailrush. I have future plots planned for him and by adopting him, you'll have to agree to do them with me. So if the plot (found in the second post of this thread) doesn't interest you, then please don't adopt him. As for other relationships, you are welcome to develop them as you see fit! Apart from the plot obligations, he'll be yours!
Dandelionpaw *ADOPTED*
Tom; 8 moons; ThunderClan Apprentice
Tom; 8 moons; ThunderClan Apprentice
A young and lively apprentice of ThunderClan, Dandilionpaw is actually quite small for his age. He is about a half-head shorter than the average apprentice, but his fur gives him a slight benefit of the doubt. His fur is undoubtedly fluffy, marked with lynx points of pale orange tabby stripes on his face, paws, and tail. With a bright pink nose and pale blue eyes to match, he is considered fairly handsome among his peers, though he can go slightly cross-eyed when he focuses.
Dandelionpaw's Personality:
Dandelionpaw is known for his sweet disposition, calmly spoken words and a slight tendency for flirting. He is a charismatic young thing and has no qualms about speaking his mind for himself or his peers. He's known to be quite oblivious and gullible, his flirting often times nothing more than overt and excessive friendliness; further, the tom develops crushes equally as easy. He often takes the words of others at face value, not looking further than what he's told and believing statements from others as true. With this behavior, he's definitely not one to tell lies and has a strong aversion towards it.
Along the same lines of his sweet nature, he's not too big of a fan of conflict and by far a better hunter than he is a fighter. The tom's true strength, however, lies in his stellar tracking ability and he can follow a scent for miles, aiding his hunting skill.
Relationships:
- This boy loves everyone
- no arguments
- but an enemy would be interesting
- he would still love them tho
