Formal Discription: Long, lithe, and lean, Stoneteller is small compared to most adults, but don't let that catch you offguard, for she is quite wiry and powerful. Grey eyes are tinted with greens and intense. her step carries sure authority and purpose of presence, and she carries an almost ethereal air to her wherever she goes, her paws barely seeming to touch the ground and her entire poise speaking of strength and authority beyond any mortal. Whiskers are white and thick, splayed out from her muzzle where black lips tend to part slightly. Her fur is short, and pale, a snowy white dusted with silver and brushed with darker browns and faint striping. Ears and long, thin, with sharply rounded points. Angular and lean, she has a sharp profile and small paws, her muzzle is pointed to a small keen black nose, and her tail is thin with a sharply defined tip. Even her teeth, with canines that poke out longer then normal, speak of a body and form more angular then anything else.
Breed: Silver Tabby

Personality: Stoneteller is strange and serious in manner, often bluntly direct with others, and seems always to have a habit of looking through people and talking to people in a direct manner of one who knows more and is above those around them. It's not out of spite however, and often, if anything, the impression one can get from watching Stoneteller is that of weariness and tiredness, they always speak in a husky voice and their gaze tends to drift over people. Androgynous and uncaring, Stoneteller cares about the lives of their tribe, but often seems to take little personal stand or feeling in decisions, and always speaks with a distant feel as though merely translating something beyond them rather then actually talking themselves. They also tend to speak in an even tone, never wavering, and they seem to always ignore the words of any other cat, only acknowledging gestures with a brief response or gesture of their own.
The might be explained by Stoneteller being deaf however. In their dreams and when they speak to the Tribe of Endless Hunting they can hear, but among the living the world is silent to them, and thus they have become separate from much of it, lacking a sense that would bind them in such a key way to their tribe members. Thus they remain inside and alone much of the time, a Teller of the Pointed stones who is taught in the arts of healing and prophecies but alien in the manners of the world outside and in the social interactions. They are imbued with the powers and weight of a Stoneteller, and as such they hold themselves aloof and commanding, and have a hard time connecting with other cats, though they care for their lives they lack a touch of humanity. When dealing with outsiders they tend to be cold and to the point, and often take little quarter dealing with strangers in Tribe territory. In fact, in general, Stoneteller seems to rarely feel anything, and seems to live... detached, without complaint, or opinion, or feeling.
History: When Snow Before the Storm was born, it was not clear early on that she was deaf, but it was clear what her destiny was to be. The current Stoneteller was reaching his middling years, and had yet to take on another Healer to train to take his place, and Snow Before the Storm would be chosen from her litter to fill that role. It was only after a couple moons had passed that it would be confirmed she lived in silence. Still, it was too late to change the decision, and the Stoneteller still took her on as the tribes healer, teaching her as best she could. She would learn diligently without complaint, and despite the boundaries that slowed her progress significantly, she would eventually come to full capacity.
And when the old Stoneteller died of age and weakness, Snow Before the Storm would take his name and his role. As Stoneteller she lead the clan with sure footing, impartial but decisive. Such was her job and her role. Nothing more. And as moons went by, such was how Stoneteller lived. As all Stonetellers had. Nothing but the clan was their concern.
Just as the snow that fell in Stonetellers dreams across a distant horizon and the clouds gathering above a lake amidst a forest was not of their concern.
