Formal Discription: Stormchaser has his father's Russian Blue colors, a dark blue-gray coat with a slightly darker tailtip, and alert and expressive eyes the color of molten gold. From his mother he inherited a Somali build, strong but lean, with fur just long enough to give off the appearance of short fur without actually being so. His tail is fluffier than the rest of him. He is almost always impeccably well-groomed, and his fur shines as a result of his mostly fish diet.

Personality: Stormchaser is a good, loyal cat, a strong warrior who cares deeply for his Clan's welfare. His emotions tend to run on the intense side and he isn't very social. He can come off as rude and abrasive sometimes, but he means well. Stormchaser has a tendency to take on too many responsibilities, and will often leap into trouble without thinking if there isn't someone around to remind him to keep cool. He juggles both a slight sense of superiority from his family and the overwhelming anxiety that what he does is never enough. Due to his strong feelings about his Clan, he doesn't trust other Clans very much, and is particularly wary of outsiders. And while not particularly chivalrous, he does clearly seem to favor young she-cats and holds male apprentices to much higher standards.
History: Stormchaser is the latest in a long line of fierce warriors well-known for their prowess in battle, though most of them had a tendency to die young seeking glory. Stormchaser's parents were no exception, leaving him shortly before he became an apprentice. His mentor Frostnose had been a close friend of his family, and by his parents' wishes he trained the young tom hard, perhaps a little harsher than most, putting a lot of pressure on his apprentice. But Stormchaser was stubborn and determined, and trained hard, though in his focus to become a great warrior his social skills fell a little flat.
The same day Frostnose was killed in a border skirmish, Stormchaser was made a warrior. In trying to deal with his grief, he became insanely active in his duties, volunteering for patrols and errands at every possible moment, trying hard to overcompensate for the pressure he felt to make a good name for himself. Soon after he was given an apprentice in the hopes of focusing his attentions elsewhere, as he had been tiring his Clanmates out just being around him, and they had started to grow concerned about his well-being. His apprentice was a little white she-cat named Softpaw, and her calm, kind nature had a very soothing effect on him. He developed a soft spot for her that he showed no other cat, and while he taught her the ways of a warrior, she in turn taught him kindness, compassion for others, and how to make decisions with a cool head. This new side of him earned Softpaw much praise within the Clan, and she was well on her way to becoming a valuable warrior. But her time was cut short, and she was killed by a fox she had been investigating at the edge of RiverClan territory while out on patrol. Her loss hit Stormchaser harder than even the death of his parents, for he blamed himself entirely, and was left with an inner loathing of himself, as well as a deep-seated fear and hatred for foxes.
In time the former leader died and Brightstar succeeded the position. Stormchaser was chosen as the new deputy, much to his own surprise, though his passion and drive to put his Clan above all else seemed to earn it. He is still very insecure about being worthy of his role, but takes it very seriously.
